A Taliban suicide bomber killed 27 Afghan soldiers and wounded 21 in an attack on a bus in Kabul. Police arrested six Taliban fighters in Ghazni province. The Afghan government negotiated for the release of four captured Red Cross workers; they have been freed from captivity.
