Thai soldiers captured a high-value target and five other Muslim insurgents during a raid in Songkhla, and killed one insurgent and captured four during a clash in Yala. Insurgents attacked a polling station in Narathiwat, as 15,350 soldiers have deployed in the South to protect 2,558 polling stations. Thai troops are getting counterinsurgency training from the Indian military.
