The Lal Majsid has been cleared and operations are over. All illegal buildings built at the compound will be destroyed. The Taliban-supporting Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal political party will hold a three-day mourning period. Fighting in Peshawar, Battagram, and Kohat resulted in one soldier killed and 19 wounded.
