Security forces arrested 3 al Qaeda suspects, including 2 holding German passports, in the border town of Taftan in southwestern Balochistan province. A jirga will be held in Peshawar on June 14 to discuss the security situation in the tribal agencies. A bomb attack on the home of a senior government officer in Bhara Kahu resulted in 3 wounded.
