Wazir tribesmen have declared a ‘jihad’ against Uzbeks and their local supporters in South Waziristan. Arab al Qaeda are not included. The Tank government has “entered into an agreement with the Mehsud and Bhittani tribes on Monday to restore peace.” Lal Masjid mosque leader Abdur Rashid Ghazi has gone in to hiding after “reports that the government is serious planning an operation against the madrassa.”
