Six Canadian soldiers were killed in Kandahar after their LAV armored vehicle was hit with a roadside bomb. The Taliban has distributed “night letters” in 18 villages in Logar province. Negotiations with elements of the Taliban is causing a break between the Karzai government and northern politicians.
