Abu Laith al-Libi released a videotape through As Sahab, al Qaeda’s media wing. He eulogized Zarqawi, discuss the state of jihad in Afghanistan, reiterated the importance of the issue of Palestine and the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, and indicated the US has shown persistence in Iraq, operating behind the Shia. He also called out to the mujahideen “on all fronts, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Algeria, Somalia, and Saudi Arabia.”
