Afghanistan

Ten al Qaeda are killed during an airstrike in Kunar province. Over 60 Taliban have been killed in fighting in eastern Afghanistan, and 7 were killed in Helmand province. The hardcore Taliban cadre must be eliminated, says a British general. The U.S., Afghanistan and Pakistan are considering a joint intelligence center in Kabul.
