Two suicide bombers kill 23 in Kirkuk, and wound 63. An estimated 180 Baghdadis have been killed since Monday in what is believed to be sectarian violence. Insurgents have been using mosques to attack Iraqi and Coalition forces in Baghdad. The New York Times looks at the difficulties in purging the police forces of Shiite extremists.
