Iraqi and Coalition forces captured 30 confirmed insurgents and 38 suspected insurgents in western Al Anbar Province, while 2 Marines and a sailor were killed during operations in the region. Task Force 145 killed five terrorists in Muqdadiyah. The Iraqi Ground Forces Command has assumed command and control over the 8th Army Division. Operation Together Forward has expanded into the Baghdad neighborhood of Bakriyah.
