Russian train derailment caused by bombing
Russian officials confirmed the derailment of the Nevsky Express, a train traveling between Moscow and St. Petersburg, was an act of terrorism. "Criminal experts say that based on preliminary findings a bomb equivalent to 7kg of TNT was detonated," Alexander Bortnikov, the chief of the FSB, told President Dmitry Medvedev. Upwards of 39 people may have been killed in the bombing and scores more were wounded.
