Al Qaeda displays spoils of raid on Syrian Army air defense base
Last week, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, one of al Qaeda's affiliates operating in Syria, announced that it overran the "Air Defense Battalion and the vital depots of 66th Brigade" in Hama [see LWJ report, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant overruns air defense base in Hama, for more details]. Yesterday, the SITE Intelligence Group obtained 25 photographs of the aftermath of the raid that were released by the Al-I'tissam Media Foundation, an ISIL media outlet. Above are six of the photographs that show an assortment of weapons obtained by the ISIL.

I sincerely hope the SAA can contain these terrorists, and eventually defeat and destroy them. Send them back to Chechnia, Libya, Saudi Arabian prisons, and wherever else they came from in body bags. They are the scum of the earth.

Richard,
I somewhat agree with you. However I would add the following to your wish list. And then the FSA destroys the evil SAA and sends Assad to hell and establishes a dictator free nation for all Syrians. Let's never forget that Assad supported al-qaidas failed campaign against the US in Iraq. The irony is delicious.

A FAILED Practice and Policy...Time & Time again
Ahhh but Alas...We shall never learn..
FACE-A expensive commodity.
If this were the US...We would Declare it.."the Killing of TANGO's."
But Assad is Declared the Terrorist...Well..
That Dog don't Hunt with me....He's Wacking TANGO's..and That's GWOT...LIVE,ON Stage & LOVIN IT!!

Mike,
The irony is delicious. While coalition forces were fighting Syrian-born jihadists in Iraq, the US IC renditioned AQ suspects to the Syrian government for interrogation.
