This photo is so reminiscent of all other American involvements both in 20th and 21st century.
The principle is to help at least that is the noblest principle
and reduce the impact of the aggressor while defending
the ally and quelling the aggressor.This is at the expense
of soldiers unquestioning loyalty.Unfortunately Al Queda does not have noble ideals only a savage revenge and bloody-mindedness and will continue to force the allied into the previous format of war.
