US troops battle the Taliban in Kunar
US Army Private First Class Timothy D. Prescott returns fire during an attack on Combat Outpost Bari Alai in Kunar province, Afghanistan. Prescott, a squad automatic weapon gunner, is assigned to Charlie Troop, 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment. International and Afghan forces fought off anti-Afghan attacks throughout the afternoon of April 10 near Nishigam village.
